As simple as that. But not as easy as its spelt out. Imagine the anticipation, anxieties, worry's and the likes all running through your mind. Wondering what is going to happen next. Ever been in an airplane that was going through turbulence? Well if you have then you can identify with what am trying to say here.
It could calmn us if we knew the end from the beginning like God did but unfortunately we don't and being mortal doesn't help either. But there is a solace for the Believer! A simple trust in Jesus does a great deal. For he has said he would never leave you nor forsake you. Like a tablet a day, that is all we need to take us through. Have you taken your tablet yet?

In Hannah's case the bible records that............. "but the LORD had shut up her womb". In pharaoh's relation with Israel's release the bible records as..............."But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart and he would not listen to Moses and Aaron". Then there is the other interesting one. Remember when Joseph had finished interpreting the dreams of of his fellow prisoners? he told the cup bearer to remember him when he was released but the cup bearer forgot. How convenient!
Honestly, i don't see how this guy could forgot this but he did forget until two years later. Even in this case not until pharaoh himself had a dream and he needed an interpreter. So you can imagine what was happening to Joseph during the two years that was still in prison; hoping and trusting God that at least this guy would put in a word for him. If it was i in there i would definitely give up and close that option.
But again if you may ask, if this butler had put in a word for him as soon as he got out would it still have been in God's plan? Where would Joseph had ended up? Potiphar's house or as a mere servant of Pharaoh, Or back in his home country? Neither of these would have fit in God's ultimate plan for Israel. Thus bringing Israel into Egypt for that period of famine and feeding them.
This is what we call conveniently planned and well calculated. Joseph's dreams, his brothers hatred and selling him to no other but Egypt, Serving in potiphar's house so he could land in prison meant for government officials, His wife's allegations against him so he could be thrown in jail and the dreams of the two servants of pharaoh.
The bible says all things work together for good to them that love and are called according to his purpose. the same bible says that the steps of the righteous are ordered by God. So the last question then becomes; why fear? why think the devil has the power! If God does not allow it for it to happen in your life, believe me it won't happen. Remember the bible says in Isaiah 53:10 Yet it was the Lord's will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand.
